Difficulty in finding return information

Received order of two pair of shoes. Wanted to exchange for larger size. Looked online at every site belonging to Shoe Carnival. No where will they give you an address to which I can return order. They said they enclosed an pre paid address label. There was so such thing in my package....just a packing list. I am thoroughly aggravated and will never order online again through Shoe Carnival. 1 hour of my time totally wasted and still no address.

I've been purchasing the same New balance shoe for work for over eight years. When I went to purchase them again, I notices Shoe Carnival was completely out of them due to the fact New Balance just came out with their latest version of the shoe. I purchased the newest version and they were a disaster. The shoe was no where true to size and a lot more narrow. Clearly the quality was not the same. I wrote a review about my experience with the shoe that I had to quit wearing just seven weeks later next to the review section next to the product. Shoe Carnival never posted my review. Shoe Carnival doesn't want their customers who threw their money away on one of their shoes to write a negative review. Shoe Carnival doesn't really care but wants you to think they do. I purchased three pairs of shoes that week and when I wrote a review about how one pair that I've been purchasing for years was cleary not the same quality, they didn't care.

The Awful .Com Experience

This is the first and only time I have purchased anything from Shoe Carnival.com. The only reason I made this first purchase is because their prices were so low.

After receiving my order, which came in good time, I understood why the prices were so low. I purchased a pair of boots and a pair of slippers. (see pics below) Both were Xmas gifts. Both pairs were cosmetically defective.

I promptly took pictures and called customer service. I spoke with a person named Blake. I explained my problem and asked for a prepaid return label. He immediately asked me if there was a store near me.

I told him no and that that didn't matter because I wasn't going to use my gasoline to take defective shoes back to any store. This guy huffed at me and said "well, I'll email you a return label" as if what I was asking for was so over the top that he couldn't believe it. It was all in his tone of course. Rude and dismissive.

I asked to wait on the phone until the label came through. He said that it takes 48 hours to get a return label. I thought that was strange but since I'd never dealt with SC on a return I had to give him the benefit of the doubt. I then asked if he could give me a reference number or send an email so I had recourse for my request.

He then said that there was no reference number and that he was incapable of send an email. I got off the phone feeling pretty angry and knew that he probably wasn't going to follow through. Well he didn't. He was nothing but a liar.

I called back two day's later and was told that everything he told me was untrue. When you call in about a return, a case number is assigned and sent to another department for processing. It's truly a shame that companies don't take customer service more seriously. Well Mr.

Chase this ain't over.

I'll get my label and my refund and hopefully you reprimanded by the time I'm finished with my complaint. Wtf

Discriminated on in my kids

I wanted to buy my kids some shoes so I decided to go to Shoe Carnival#460 Wheatland and I20 it was last Friday I am a black and my kids are too I am disabled and I had a stroke I was wondering why the guy head met me at the door and I told him that if I needed something I would ask him I told my daughter that he is watching me and I don't steal I have one hand this Limited what I can do what I got to steal for so he was following me around the store and this was unnerving but my kids wanted some shoes that bad I have two kids 1 is 16yrs and 4yrs this guy was a Hispanic guy he look like he's about 50 years old I think he was a manager it was not that many black people there I wonder why anyway I just wanted you to know that he he was following me around the store like clockwork I don't know if he think black people will steal something, that's the wrong it was around 7 p.m. he followed me up there with my kids and he started so watch me is I got rung up I just wanted you to know how he's doing black PPL.

The shoe carnival in Bridgeton is the worst. I was followed and watched the entire time.

However no asked me if I needed assistance. When I approached the silly little white girl she pretended she was doing nothing of the sort. I walked to the front and amazingly she was the one ringing up my merchandise.. I will never patronize shoe carnival and will be sure to spread the word.

It's one thing to prevent theft but when you make it painfully obvious that you are policing people if color that's some *** s***!!!! Disgusting customer service!!

They have never contacted me about the situation they just don't care about discrimination with black people it is hard then we are minorities in the Mexican man was doing it I have never throw anything in my life..

Charged twice

Ordered 4 pairs of shoes of a total of 170. They charged me at the time of order then charged me again when shipped. So 340 out of my account. I called and they said they place a hold then charge and the hold will be released within a few days. Took 14 days still nothing. Had to call my bank and dispute charge. I will never shop here again!

I placed an order online and shipped to store. I canceled my Original order due to shoes arriving in VERY POOR CONDITIONS.

They were dirty as if they were used already. Unfortunately i had to reorder and wait additional 7 days for a new order. The new order came and there were minor scratches and stains. I was so mad.

But they looked much better than the original order The store manager was very kind he discounted the shoes and i just left with those because my niece had been waiting 2 weeks already for shoes she REALLY WANTED.

I will never order online again they don’t even provide tracking numbers. My experience was horrible I deserve at least an apology for that.

I went to the Blanding Blvd location March 5, 2019. As usual the store has super sales going on. I was greeted and asked if I needed help with anything. Bought my items without any problems. Double charged

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes on line. They put a hold on my account for 86.91 on January 1st, 2019. On January 2nd, 2019. They took another 39.98 out of my account for the pair that was to be picked up at the store. January 3rd they took another 39.98 out of my account for the pair they shipped. Now I’m negative. I did a three way call with the bank and shoe Carnival and SCarnival said your account was not charged twice, the bank said yes she was. *** shoe Carnival. I will be getting my money back but I have to wait. I understand a mistake once but twice in 24 hrs .

Received ONE shoe

Ordered four pairs of shoes from them. Received all four shoe boxes in a plastic shipping bag.

The boxes were destroyed, completely broken and disassembled from being crushed during shipping. I was giving these as Christmas gifts and the boxes look like I pulled them out of a dumpster. One of the pairs wasn't a pair at all, just a single shoe. I called and requested a replacement pair with overnight shipping (cutting it close to christmas) and 5 days later I still hadn't been sent shipping confirmation or tracking.

I called them again and they said the replacement order never went through. Finally received them today (two weeks after the original order date), but still haven't received the return shipping label (yes they requested I return the single shoe).

Don't know why I bothered with Shoe Carnival again, they pulled similar *** last year when they shipped my shoes with security tags still attached. Done with them.

Excessive hold on card;Double payment; overcharged

I ordered on line and was charged when I placed the order. Part of the order shipped so I was charged for what shipped but the original charge stayed on the account.

The remainder of my order has now shipped and I was charged for those items. The original charge is still on my account. I call customer service only to be told 3-5 business days and it will 'fall off'. The woman from customer service told me that she put a ticket in for the charges to drop off...in 2 business days.

I was charged $500 because of their asinine policy of charging twice. NO other company does this. I am returning ALL 10 pairs of shoes that I ordered because of this.

A good deal is not worth supporting a company like this. And they charge more by doing this.

Was at shoe carnival Saturday baught pair of shoes were suppose to have been 49.99 was charged 65.00 dollars told the manager he acted like I was lying what a jerk this happens in lexington ky 12-8-2018. At west river ton way Lexington ky never will bye your cheap quality shoes again

It’s really funny, maybe a coincidence but just about 10 minutes after posting this review and 30 minutes after chatting with the lady who said it takes 14 days to process the returns they refunded my money minus the shipping cost.

I bought 2 pairs of shoes. With the sale I spent about $94.

The 2 pairs came in their boxes shoved into a bag, not shipped in a box. One of the boxes was totally destroyed which wasn't a really big deal at first since I don't save the boxes BUT I had to return them, I didn't like the fit on either of them. I'm hoping they don't try to blame me or take more of my money for that. Now to the real problem.

If you pay using paypal and you want to return something you have to UPS it back and they will take the shipping, I think it said $6 out of your refund. I'm glad I looked that up before I drove across town to return them. It really sucks that you can't take them to the store to return, because they have no way of putting the money back into your paypal account in the store, well here's a thought give me cash. That money came out of my bank account and went to you so why does it have to go back to my paypal?

I dropped the package off at UPS on 5-15-18. I just checked the tracking and they received it on 5-18-18 today is 5-22-18. I started a chat with them and found out it takes about 14 days for them to process the return and give me my money back, the part that they are not keeping for shipping.

This is ridiculous!!!!!
If you order from the don't use Paypal to pay unless you want to HAVE to UPS it back to them at your expense. I think if you are willing to take it to a store but they force you to mail it back that you should not be charged, you also should not be charged shipping if you live a certain distance from a brick and mortar store.
I personally will not be ordering from their website again and I probably won't go to their stores either.

I went in the store to catch the $19.98 boot sale. I tried on a pair, but decided to go higher to wear thicker socks.

I order two pair of boots. Later that day, I received an email that one order was canceled. Two days later, I got another email that the second order was canceled. Now the stores are sold out and the sale is over.

I am not sure why the store couldn't back order the items. On top of that, it will take 3-5 days to credit back my account.

Why take my money if the items were not in stock? I will never shop at this store again and I am trying to inform every website I can find of my issue.
